Adani Lounge at Mumbai's CSMIA T2 Review!

In this article, I’d like to share my experience at the Adani Lounge at Mumbai International Airport’s beautiful T2. The lounge is operated by TFS (TFS Performa). I was flying Vistara’s evening flight to Goa and arrived at the airport three hours early to avoid the crowds and visit the lounge. This is a December 2022 experience.

Location

Finding the Adani Lounge at Mumbai International Airport’s T2 terminal can be a bit confusing, as the signage points to two different lounges and then suddenly disappears. To locate the lounge, you should take the second right after descending the escalator past security. The entrance to the lounge is situated next to a Starbucks, so this can serve as a helpful landmark. It is important to remember to look to the right, as the entrance can be easily missed if you are only looking straight ahead.

Card Used

I used the ICICI Bank’s World Debit card (Mastercard variant), which entitles me to two free lounge visits in India each quarter. Because the quarter was coming to an end and I hadn’t used any of the lounges this quarter, I was free to use any card in my arsenal (probably not a good comparison talking about airport stuff). This time, I was accompanied by my brother, and the receptionist informed me that I could enter the lounge using a different card. I used the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card for this, which entitles me to one lounge visit per quarter.

Sitting and Decoration

The lounge is divided into four sections. The first, located on the left side as you enter, is reserved for business class passengers and is not accessible to other guests. The concourse features a large seating area with sofas, chairs, and dining tables facing airside, providing a beautiful view of the sunset over Mumbai as you enter the lounge.

Seating Area

The second section contains a bar that serves alcohol for a fee, and the final section features a buffet and additional seating. Despite being busy during peak periods like the Christmas-New Year holidays, the lounge provides ample seating for all guests to comfortably find a place to sit.

Food

Since I had visited the lounge at evening, the buffet options were more inclined towards light bites. However, this is not to say they didn’t have any dinner options - they did have biryani, naan, and several types of gravy available. While there were plenty of options for vegetarians, there were not as many options for non-vegetarians.

Buffet Buffet

In addition to the regular buffet options, there was also a desert counter and a live counter where food like omelettes and dosas were being made to order. Unlimited aerated drinks were also available for guests. Overall, the airport lounge provided a range of food and drink options to suit different preferences and satisfy hunger and thirst before a flight.

Conclusion

The Adani Lounge at Mumbai International Airport’s T2 terminal is a great place for you to relax and unwind before your next flight. Access to the lounge is restricted to three hours before the flight, and a range of credit and debit cards with lounge access are accepted. My experience at the lounge was positive, and the staff were even accommodating when I wanted to bring a guest by using a different card. If you have a layover at Mumbai’s T2 terminal, the Adani Lounge is a convenient and comfortable place to spend some time before your next flight.
